If you don’t already have a flash file, then search for a free one in any internet search engine. Just type in “free flash banner” and you should find one relatively quickly. The file that you will be using will have the extension *.swf.

Now upload the choosen *.swf file onto your file server, preferably into a directory that is relative to your webpage. Note the URL location of this file.

Next, you will copy and paste the following code into your webpage:

Note that there are width, and height attributes within the original code that we are using. You may adjust those attributes, currently at: width=1024, and height=240, to suit the needs of your flash banner. Adding flash code to your website can be easy if your browser is configured right, and you have placed the correct URL to the actual *.swf, or flash file, where shown. Just remember to go in between the “parentheses.swf” with the file you are choosing to display on your webpage.
